Former Abia State Governor, Orji Kalu visited ailing President Muhammadu Buhari in London at the weekend, adding that the president is responding to treatment.
He told reporters at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja Lagos that he was coming from Washington where he had met with some business partners and had a stopover in London to see President Buhari.
According to him, the president is responding well to treatment, adding, “Buhari is in a stable condition and Nigerians should pray for him for quick recovery.”
Kalu disclosed that President Buhari might come back to Nigeria before June 11 to continue with the good job he had started.
Calling on Nigerians to stop uploading hate speeches via social media, Kalu said that there is no crime that a president can fall sick in as much as he is a human being.
However, the former governor urged the government to attend to the suffering of the masses and also obey court order to make democracy work.
