Travellers to Ibadan, the Oyo State capital from Lagos have been advised to take other routes to their destination.
Reports say that there is a serious traffic gridlock caused by an early morning accident.
The accident occurred around NASFAT area of the Expressway.
Emergency and Federal Road Safety Commission officials are there trying to move away the vehicles.
In another development, the Chief of Army Staff, COAS, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai, has said the Boko Haram insurgency in the North-east, militancy in Niger Delta and other criminalities in the country have challenged the Nigerian Army’s operational capacity to fulfil its constitutional roles.
The Chief of Army Staff said Boko Haram insurgency manifested the gravest threat to the nation’s national security.
According to him, new forms of criminality exposed lapses in the Nigerian Army’s operational capability and capacity.”
