Members of the Joint Health Sector Unions, JOHESU from across Nigeria are currently protesting against what they say is governments injustice to health workers.

The union says they are not ready to back down until government accedes to its demands.

Their decision to protest follows the outcome of an emergency meeting of union leaders from the 36 states of Nigeria.

The union unanimously agreed to continue the industrial action despite a court order served on the 25th of May mandating it to return to work.
