Renowned Nigerian radio broadcaster Ifedayo Olarinde, well known as Daddy Freeze said, all the General Overseers of every church in Nigeria should show love to the needy.
Speaking as a guest at the launch of Omega Power Ministries (OPM) specialist hospital, the on-air personality stated that he is challenging all Nigerian pastors to build free hospitals and schools for everyone irrespective of their religious affiliation.
Speaking further, Daddy freeze said some general overseers build schools that their pastor’s children cannot attend, because of the cost.
On his understanding of practical Christianity, the OAP gave an example of his own church, stressing that, three scriptures guides them.
The first scripture he mentioned was James 1:27 which he quoted, elaborating that, religion that God finds undefiled is taking care of widows, orphans and the poor in their needs, and not casting and binding demons all day.
Giving the second example in Luke 10:25, he revealed that; when Christ was confronted by one of the teachers who wanted to tempt him, a priest walked past, a Levite walked past, but a Samaritan showed love.
The third scripture he quoted was Matthew 25: 31-41 stating that, ‘when I was hungry you gave me food, when I was thirsty you gave me water…’ He said more than anything, love is the most important.
In his concluding words, Daddy Freeze said he is challenging the General Overseer of every church, to emulate the gesture of the OPM Church, which includes one free hospital and one free standard school stressing his message with a bible verse that, ‘God so love the world… but have everlasting life.’
