Legendary Nigerian Comedian Alibaba, has attributed the unusual sudden quietness in 2019 political season to lack of money.
In recent times, Nigerian entertainers, have massively declared their interest in politics and have actively joined and work in various capacity. As for some, it is either they are given appointment or they contest for a political position and win.

Alibaba, being concerned about the political atmosphere, decided to decided to share his view via social media.
In his words on Instagram, the veteran comedian said all the avenues where politicians get illegal funds from, have been blocked
The comedian who is also referred to as the Grandfather of comedy in Nigeria Thursday, January 17, 2019, said,
“Have you ever heard of any election in Nigeria that is so quiet? Naaa. You know why? There is no money.
All the places all the politicians use to take money from is with TSA. Other places where monies are in, can’t be accessed because of BVN. Elections is one month away and adverts on radio and tv have reduced. Only posters and billboards. We shall overcome, one day,”
