God’s plan by Drake, takes position number 10. “God’s Plan” is a song recorded by Canadian musician Drake, released on January 19, 2018, through OVO Sound, Young Money, and Cash Money. In the United States, “God’s Plan” debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on the chart dated February 3, 2018, becoming Drake’s fourth Hot 100 number-one song.
It achieved 82.4 million streams and 127,000 downloads in the country, in the week ending January 25. “God’s Plan” held steady at number one for its second week on the chart, gaining 83.3 million streams
9. Nice-The Caters
The rap song Nice, by The Caters makes the list and falls on number 9. The song is from the album ‘Everything is Love’ and it was produced by Beyonce, Pharell Williams and Jay z. It was released on 16 June, 2018. It was also written by Pharell Williams, Jay z and Beyonce.
8. Sicko Mode- Travis Scott
Travis scott graces the position number 8 with “Sicko Mode“. The song by American rapper Travis Scott, was released by Epic Records on August 21, 2018, as the second single from Scott’s third studio album, Astroworld (2018). The song features guest vocals by Drake, and additional vocals by Swae Lee, and Big Hawk posthumously. It is Scott’s first number one on the US Billboard Hot 100.
7. Chun Li- Nicki Minaj
American rapper Nicki Minaj sits so tight on number 7 with the song “Chun-Li“. The song was released from her fourth studio album, Queen(2018). It was released as the lead single of the album on April 12, 2018, by Young Money Entertainment and Cash Money Records. It was written and produced by Minaj and Jeremy Reid. Commercially, the song has peaked at number 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100, reached the top 20 in Canada, and the top 30 in France and the United Kingdom. It won a Best Hip-Hop Video award at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards.
6. I Like It Like That-Cardi B
Interestingly, “I Like It” takes the number 6, on the list. It is a song recorded by American rapper Cardi B with Puerto Rican rapper Ba Bunny and Colombian singer J Balvin for her debut studio album Invasion of Privacy (2018). It was released on May 25, 2018 to radio stations through Atlantic Records as the fourth single from the album.
“I Like It” is a Latin trap song that comprises a trap-salsa beat. It was written by the three performers along with Jordan Thorpe and Klenord Raphael, while the production was handled by J. White, Tainy, Craig Kallman and Invincible. Cardi B, Bad Bunny and J Balvin gave the first live performance of “I Like It” at the 2018 Coachella Music Festival during its second weekend, on April 22.

“In My Feelings” , a song by Drake is takes position number 5 on this list. Surprisingly, this song is from his fifth studio album Scorpion (2018). It was released to rhythmic and contemporary hit radio on July 10, 2018, as the album’s fifth single. The song features additional vocals by the City Girls, though they are not credited on the official version. The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for ten weeks and broke several records.
4. Thank You, Next- Ariana Grande
“Thank U, Next“, by Ariana Grande is officially on number 4. American singer released the lead single from her upcoming fifth studio album of the same name. The track was written by Grande, Taylor Parks, Victoria Monét and Kimberly Krysiuk, along with its producers Tommy Brown, Charles Anderson and Michael Foster.
Lyrically, the song reflects on Grande’s past relationships. The track broke a string of records, including the record for the most plays in a single day by a female artist on Spotify. Commercially, “Thank U, Next” has reached number one in the United States, and other parts of the world
3. Boo’d Up-Ella Mai
Sitting on number 3 is “Boo’d Up”, the debut commercial single by English singer Ella Mai from her third extended play, Ready, released on 20 April, 2018. It is serving as the lead single for the EP, the song peaked number five on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. It was also the recipient of two Grammy Award nominations for Best R&B Song and Song of the Year at the 61st Grammy Awards.
2. This is America-Childish Gambino
This Is America”, a song by American rapper Childish Gambino has made the no 2 spot. The song was written and produced by Gambino and Ludwig Göransson and was released on May 5, 2018, at the same time that Gambino was hosting that day’s episode of Saturday Night Live. The song features background vocals by American rappers Young Thug, Slim Jxmmi, BlocBoy JB, 21 Savage and Quavo. The song has been nominated for 4 Grammy Awards at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards (Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap/Sung Performance and Best Music Video)
1. Girls Like You- Maroon 5 Ft. Cardi B
Sitting on the no 1 spot is “Girls Like You” is a song recorded by American band Maroon 5, from their sixth studio album Red Pill Blues. A second version featuring American rapper Cardi B was released by 222 and Interscope Records as the album’s third single on May 30, 2018.
This version was written by Adam Levine, Cirkut, Cardi B, Starrah, Jason Evigan, and Gian Stone and was produced by Cirkut and Evigan. The single reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it Maroon 5’s fourth and Cardi B’s third chart-topper, who extended her record for most number-ones among female rappers.
