The founder of industry night, Mathew Ohio said Nigerian artist, popularly known as Burnar Boy, is undisciplined.

Speaking as a guest on the programme “Today on STV”, Ohio said that Burnar Boy is among those artists that have supported Industry Night, but he lacks discipline.

He said being young is not an excuse to be undisciplined; adding that he started industry night when he was 26.

Ohio revealed that Nigerian artists used to get bounced out of clubs; not until 2007, he came up to scene as a promoter, signed a deal with Tu- Face who gave him the opportunity.

He stated further that, he went on a successful tour to seven states in Nigeria with Tu-Face, and after then, he noticed that so many young artists picked up interest to express themselves but no platform.

He said Artists are now paid 5million naira in club appearance that they used to bounce them; revealing that the industry has developed.

He emphasized that he expected artist to come back and show appreciation after they had become relevant but some of them would not come.

He advised young artists to be disciplined if they want to succeed in the entertainment industry, because discipline has helped him to succeed.
