The Mobalaji Johnson, Lateef Jakande and Bola Tinubu Parks, Alausa Ikeja are filled with picnickers Monday to celebrate Easter.

Thousands of Lagos residents, mostly children arrived the beautifully decorated parks early to have fun.

In their colourful outings, the children came to the parks with lots of foods and drinks as they jumped around with great energies.

The children are on holiday while their parents will resume work tomorrow.

The Lagos State Government declared last Thursday as a work free day for civil servants while the Federal Government extended it with two more days on Friday and Monday as public holidays.

The Lagos Shopping Mall, popularly known as Shoprite was also jam-packed with shoppers, some of whom had turned the place to a tourist centre.
