In an interview with Real After Party's Bootleg Kev & DJ Damage, Wizkid talked about how music started out for him and how he got his first real shot in the business, he said, "This big producer back then, OJB (Rest In Peace) had a studio where I’d go hang around and watch people record, stars will come and go and I just hanging around waiting for my time ..Fast Money, Fast Car is a song by MI, who's a big rapper back home, that I did a hook on it and everyone kept asking "Yo, who's that kid?".

When asked about how the whole Drake "One Dance" collaboration came about he said. “That initially happened through Skepta, he played my song for him (Drake) and he jumped on Ojuelebga Remix and that was it."

What does Wizkid when he's not working? Do you play video games?
"Smoke marijuana!", he says almost immediately and the DJ follows us up with 'We've definitely established the weed thing when you got here'. "I love to chill by myself, I like to watch a lot of movies as well as TV shows, it depends on my mood" the Star boy says. "The last thing I saw wasn't a movie it was a show, "Queen of the South" on Netflix, I watch very random stuff."

On his work with Ty Dolla Sign, he says we should expect some exceptional collabs and that they have about 20 records now and said how much they vibe, "He's a true artiste".
