The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS has sued the Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, his wife, Bisi Fayemi and the Nigeria Police over the killing of two students of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti allegedly shot by Counter Terrorism Officers attached to convoy of the Governor’s Wife.
This was disclosed in a Press Statement signed signed by the President of the National Association of Nigerian Students, Danielson Akpan to announce the findings of NANS Leadership on the Rampage in Oye-Ekiti on the 10th of September.
The Students Body seeks a judicial commission of inquiry involving all affected including the Benin electricity distribution company, family members of slain students and host community.
The National Students Body also demands the automatic employment of two family members of the slain students, Medical Bills of all survivors paid with a compensation of Twenty Million naira.
The students’ body thereafter pronounced a ban on Governor Fayemi Kayode and his wife, Bisi Fayemi from entering, attending and participating in any activity at any Campus of the Tertiary institution across the country, until the demands are met.
