The International School University of Ibadan has asked a female student Ikhlass Olasubomu Badiru to proceed on two weeks suspension for act of impudence to school authority.
The suspension was communicated in a letter signed by the Principal of the school, Pheabean Olowe.
Miss Badiru was found to have put on Hijab against the rules and regulations of the school sometimes in July.
The crisis over wearing Hijab in ISI started in 2018 when some 11 parents backed their girl children to put on head scarf (Hijab) against the dress code of the school.
They later proceeded to court to challenge the decision of the school.
All efforts by Justice Ladiran Akintola to allow out of court settlement among parties proved abortive and the case is still pending in court.
At her return after two weeks, suspended Badiru is expected to see the school Counselor with her parents with a written undertaking to obey rules of the school.
