Tanker Drivers have refused to park their trucks away from the major Lagos Roads along Apapa, Tin Can and Wharf, despite 48-hour-ultimatum.

The State Government and the military had given the drivers till Monday to leave the road so as to allow easy passage of vehicles.

As at this morning, when our correspondent visited some of the bridges where the tankers were parked, it was observed that the drivers were not ready to leave.

However, the Flag Officer Commander, Western Naval Command of the Nigerian Navy, Rear Amiral Sylvanus Abba had said that terrorists might capitalise on the refusal of the tankers to quit the road to attack Lagos.
