In the spirit of Easter and the festivities that surround it, most Nigerians use this period to reflect on its significance and importance.
One thing that cannot be ruled out is the flooding of the malls by shoppers.

During a visit to a popular shopping mall in Ilupeju area of Lagos state, we caught up with some buyers and visitors alike who spoke on their plans to enjoy the season.

We caught up with a staff of the mall Mr Omotayo Ijale who said he is actually looking forward to the easter to spend time with his family, wife and kids. He also plans to visit his parents and have fun with them as well as going for church service on Sunday.

According to Patience Tuncan, she also wants to just be in the company of her family while also extending the joy and love of the season to others.

Speaking on the hike in prices of commodities and the current state of the nation in general, Funke Adebayo, a real estate agent was full of hope for the country while also adding that despite the trying times, the future can only be brighter.
